Job Title: Events Assistant

Reports to: Events Manager / Founder
Location: Various nurseries, schools, and corporate venues
Contract: Part-time / Freelance (event-based throughout the year)


Job Purpose

The Events Assistant will support the delivery of interactive and educational events in nurseries, schools, and corporate settings. The role involves assisting with arts & crafts activities, supervising children, helping with organisation, and capturing event highlights through photos and videos.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and packing down event activities and materials.

  • Support children with arts & crafts, games, and other interactive activities.

  • Provide a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all children.

  • Help with event organisation, including managing resources and maintaining tidy activity areas.

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos to be used for social media and promotional purposes.

  • Greet and engage with parents, staff, and attendees in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Work closely with the Events Manager and team to ensure smooth running of each session.

  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and company policies at all times.


Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with children in educational, childcare, or event settings (preferred).

  • Confident, approachable, and able to engage with children of all ages.

  • Organised with good time-management skills.

  • Ability to take photos and videos using a phone or camera.

  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.

  • Flexible with working hours, some events may run during evenings, weekends, or holidays.

  • DBS check (we can provide this for you)
